This was the original appearance of a lobby for an office building near the old World Trade Center site in New York City.
The renovation involved a complete redesign of the ceiling and floor. That left the walls virtually intact, thereby saving money. Note that the ceiling includes custom fixtures built into new architectural coffers. The design of the new floor tile pattern mirrors that of the ceiling above.
