The University Club is a Beaux Arts-style building in midtown Manhattan designed by McKim, Mead, and White in 1899.  In the mid-1980s, they added an annex.  I designed wall sconces and decorative ceiling-mounted fixtures that looked like they had been part of the original design.  These incorporated energy-efficient light sources.
